Sinopsis
A pesar de su avanzada edad, Domingo afronta cada mañana la rutina de buscar un
trabajo. Una noche recibe una llamada con una singular oferta de empleo; en un
tiempo límite, el curtido operario aprende a manejar “la máquina de amaneceres”
y a realizar con credulidad una asombrosa tarea: la de hacer salir el sol. Sin
embargo, al volver a casa, Domingo echará de menos a su mujer, Lupita. Al fin y
al cabo, si él puede amanecer el sol, ¿no podrá también traer de vuelta a su
Lupita?
In spite of his advanced
age, Domingo faces each morning looking for a job. One particular night he gets
a call for a unique position; at the eleventh hour, the veteran mechanic has to
learn how to handle the "daybreak machine" and gullibly perform an
astonishing task: to make the sun rise. However, upon returning home, Domingo
is missing his wife, Lupita. At the end of the day, if he can dawn the sun, can
he not also bring his Lupita back?
